Open Gardens...
After a slow start we have now had a good response to our appeal for village gardens, we even have some that are new to the event.
There is still time to enter your garden if you live in Bere Regis and are willing to open it on the 15th of July to the general public to raise funds for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance so please get in touch with me before the 1st of March.
The great news is that thanks to the kindness of the garden owners this popular Village event will be going ahead as planned for 15th July.

Open Gardens Sunday 15th July…

January 14th
There are many exciting and different events planned for the Jubilee by the Pop In Place and the village and I’m sure that great celebrations will be made within this vibrant community.
We are raising money form any worthy causes this year and they are:-
The Village Jubilee Celebrations
Julia’s House Children’s Hospice
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance
The Stroke Association
Children In Need
Macmillan Cancer Support
and The Alzheimer’s Society.
We are currently appealing for Gardens for the Open Gardens Event on 15th July, to date the response has been rather disappointing, we will need a total of 8 gardens for the event to continue so if you are willing to open your garden within Bere Regis on this day to raise funds for the Air Ambulance we would love to hear from you, please contact me 01929 472023 by 1st March.

The Performers Group...

are planning the Summer Show 23rd June “Consider Yourself One of Us” this as the title suggests is our version of “Oliver” and promises to be a really great show.
Tickets will be £5 each and all profits will go to Julia’s House Children’s Hospice.
This is a great example of young people working together to help to raise much needed funds for other young people.
It is our aim at the Pop In Place to raise awareness of all the worthy causes that we raise funds for and to help the youngsters understand as far as possible each new charity we are working for.
I always think it is rather a big wish to say “HAPPY NEW YEAR” as for some this year will be difficult for health, family, or financial reasons.
However if we can all in some even small way make a positive contribution to our village community by enhancing peoples quality of life it will, not only to the people that benefit but also to the giver, bring a meaningful and great happiness.
